26th May 2011	A 100 year old steam engine which spent almost 25 years working in a Tyneside chemical plant is returning to the North East to take part in a celebration of the regions railway history this weekend

02nd February 2011	The Tanfield Railway will kick off its 40th anniversary celebrations with a weekend long freight festival featuring a vertical boilered visitor and Tanfield�s first ever ride on freights on February 19/20.
