If you enjoy your visit to the Tanfield Railway and want to know more, you can become a member of the Tanfield Railway Association – the official supporting body of the world’s oldest railway.

Members receive 3-4 editions of The Tanfield magazine each year which provides news and information on what’s happening on the railway and can also join in with regular social events.

Association members also receive discounted train travel on the Tanfield Railway.
